Reasons and solutions for the malfunction of stainless steel solenoid valves

Stainless steel solenoid valve is an actuator in industrial automation systems. It can automatically open and close the valve after receiving an electrical control signal, achieving control over the on/off or flow of pipeline medium. The working principle of stainless steel solenoid valve: normally closed type: when the coil is energized, the electromagnetic core attracts, the pressure relief hole opens, and the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure, opening the main valve port and allowing the medium to flow. When the power is cut off, the main valve port closes and the medium is cut off. Normally closed type: opposite to normally open type.

In use, stainless steel solenoid valve jamming is the most common fault. Below, we will briefly analyze the reasons for jamming.

The clearance between the slide valve sleeve and the valve core of the stainless steel solenoid valve is too small, which can easily get stuck when mechanical impurities enter or there is too little lubricating oil. You can use a wire to poke through the small hole in the head of the solenoid valve and then bounce it back. This is just a temporary first aid method. The fundamental solution is to remove the stainless steel solenoid valve, then take out the valve core and valve core sleeve, clean them thoroughly, and make the valve core move flexibly in the valve sleeve. When disassembling, it is necessary to pay attention to the assembly sequence and wiring position of the various components of the solenoid valve, so as to facilitate reinstallation and wiring. To check if the oil spray nozzle is blocked and if the lubricating oil is sufficient.
